Where is your counselling room situated?

Damien's therapy room is hosted by Wakefield Osteopaths, Cheapside, Wakefield

I work in a small, private, quiet counselling room, in a friendly practice shared by a variety of different health practitioners.

This building is situated at the end of Cheapside (WF1 2TF) in Wakefield city centre, which is just a short walk from the bus and train stations. On-street pay-and-display car parking and council car parks are close by.

Please click on the picture to see an enlarged version of the image of the building (this will open in a new tab or new window on your internet browser).

Please note that I operate an appointment system, so please do not visit me at the premises unless you have booked an appointment by telephone or e-mail.

The thumbnail map image on the left shows the location of the premises. Please click on the image to see an enlarged version (this will open in a new tab or new window on your internet browser).

Alternatively, to find the location using an even bigger map, please visit Google Maps (this will open in a new tab or new window on your internet browser).

How do I get to your counselling room by train?

My counselling room is only a few minutes’ walk from Wakefield Westgate railway station.

Wakefield Westgate is on the main London to Leeds East Coast railway line. It is only a short train journey from Leeds, Doncaster and Sheffield, and the stations in-between, such as Outwood, Sandal and Agbrigg, South Elmsall etc.

When you exit the station, you will see the view in the picture to your left. Please cross Mulberry Way and go up the pedestrian walkway in the direction of the town hall clock tower. You will come to a pelican crossing and see the premises just across the road, next door to a picture framing shop.

How do I get to your counselling room by bus?

My counselling room is around five to ten minutes’ walk from Wakefield bus station. This is a central terminus for various bus routes from all parts of the Wakefield metropolitan district and beyond.

On leaving the bus station, please head towards the Bull Ring, along Marygate and down Westgate. You will come to a right turn on to Cheapside, and please go all the way to the end of Cheapside, where you will find my counselling room in the last building on your left.

How do I get to your counselling room by car?

My counselling room is within reasonable driving distance of M1 junctions 39, 40 and 41, and only a short journey from the M1/M62 intersection.

To get directions, please visit Google Maps (this will open in a new tab or new window on your internet browser), and click on the ‘directions’ button.

Where can I park my vehicle in the vicinity of your counselling room?

Damien's therapy room is close to pay-and-display car parking in Cheapside, Wakefield

You will find on-street pay-and-display car parking in front of the building, and a council pay-and-display car park further down the street.
